What ingredients are in your dog treat mixes?

Our mixes are made with simple, thoughtfully sourced ingredients you can feel good about baking for your dog. We focus on straightforward recipes without unnecessary fillers.

Are your treats safe for all dogs?

Our treats are made for most dogs, but every dog is different. We recommend checking the ingredient list carefully, especially if your dog has known allergies, and consulting your veterinarian if you have concerns.

Can puppies eat these treats?

Our treats are best for dogs over 12 weeks old. For puppies, we recommend breaking treats into smaller pieces and introducing them gradually.

How long do the treats stay fresh?

Once baked and fully cooled, treats stay fresh for up to 3-5 days when stored in an airtight container at room temperature, up to 5-7 days in the refrigerator, or up to 3 months if frozen.

What if I live at a higher altitude and am baking above 3,000 ft?

We recommend a few small, safe tweaks,  increase oven temp by +15-25 degrees and start checking 2-3 minutes earlier. If dough feels dry or crumbly add 1-2 teaspoons of water. The goal for the dough texture is firm, slightly tacky but not sticky.

Do I need any special equipment to bake the treats?

No special equipment is needed. All you need is a bowl, a baking sheet, an oven, and optional cookie cutters for fun shapes.

Can I freeze the dough or baked treats?

Yes. You can freeze the dough before baking or freeze baked treats after they’ve fully cooled. Thaw before serving.

Why do baking times vary?

Baking times can vary depending on oven type, treat size and thickness, and altitude. We recommend keeping an eye on your treats and baking until fully firm and lightly golden.

Do you use organic ingredients?

We thoughtfully source high-quality ingredients and use organic options whenever available. While we are not certified organic, we prioritize clean, simple ingredients in every mix.

Are your treats made in the USA?

Yes. Our mixes are prepared and packaged in the United States.

Are these treats meant to replace meals?

No. Our treats are intended as an occasional treat or reward, not a meal replacement.

How often can I give my dog these treats?

Treats should be given in moderation as part of a balanced diet. Adjust portion size based on your dog’s size and activity level.
